Gallatin Writers is best described as intellectual entrepreneurs who generate alternative solutions to pressing Western problems. We generate debate on new terms; we seek understanding and cooperation among conflicting visions of the West by bringing people with diverse backgrounds and views together around common problems. By disseminating information on initiatives that offer promise and hope for the region, we hope to influence the direction of change.
